FRANCIS BERGERON - Professionnel EN TITRE et directeur de golf / head golf professional and director of golf
Francis Bergeron has been the head pro at the Country Club of Montreal since 1989. His appointment at the age of 24 made him the youngest private golf club pro in Canada at the time.
A proud competitor in his day, Francis claimed two victories on the Association des golfeurs professionnel du Québec (AGPQ) circuit, the Spring Open in 1991 and the Shell Classic in 1999.
Francis is a pro who is very involved in the club’s daily activities. He is, in particular, responsible for the various member tournaments as well as tournaments for professional associations and for all the sporting and technical logistics linked to the good operation of a golf club.
Whereas many pros neglect teaching, Francis offers members a complete and comprehensive training program. Whether they choose private or group lessons, all golfers will find a program that suits their needs. Please note that we now offer a winter golf school right here at the Country Club of Montreal. You can practise your golf year round here at the club.
