Our Course Architect
Roy “Andy” Dye of Pete Dye and Associates redesigned the Country Club of Montreal’s course layout in 1974. His brother Pete Dye is recognized as one of the world’s most famous golf course architects. Roy Dye’s architectural style makes use of deep sand traps, undulating fairways and small greens where players have to demonstrate their strategic skills.
Pete Dye and Associates have designed some of the most impressive courses in the world including Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana, The Golf Club course near Columbus, Ohio (with the contribution of young resident, Jack Nicklaus), as well as the 17th signature hole (known as the Island Green) of TPC at Sawgrass, which is located ain Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
